GoFundMe says it won’t be giving the C$10 million ($8 million USD) raised to support the truckers protesting COVID-19 mandates to the organizers anymore, saying it will instead work with the organizers to send the funds to “established charities verified by GoFundMe.”

Keep in mind that GoFundMe receives a hefty percentage of that C$10 million ($8 million USD), notes Catholic Business Journal. Who would trust GoFundMe ever again… NEVER!
People freely donated to something they chose to support. GoFundMe not only takes their ‘corporate cut,’ then GoFundMe decides not to honor what people freely chose to do with their own money! Seems like the ultimate example of corrupt and illegal behavior on the part of GoFundMe. GoFundMe DIDN’T EVEN AUTOMATICALLY REFUND DONATIONS TO THE DONORS!!!!
hmmm… We don’t remember any such heists and self-righteous behavior when violent groups such as Black Lives Matter raised funds. Just sayin.
