Lead by Example: Andy Reid, Head Coach of Kansas City Chiefs, says Success in Life comes from Teaching Others

If you ask him, Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid says that success in life comes from teaching others.  He doesn’t just “say” it though. He lives it, having mentored more than eleven (11) NFL head coaches (so far)!  More than that, much of what Reid has learned in his exemplary sports and coaching career echoes the best of ethical business and leadership principles.

Don’t take our word for it, listen for yourself…

In the next episode of The Mentors Radio, Host Dan Hesse, a Univ. of Notre Dame graduate known for his remarkable turn-around of Sprint, talks with Reid about the coach’s philosophy that success in life comes from teaching others.

Winning two Super Bowls as the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, Reid trails only Bill Belichick in career victories among active NFL coaches. His Chiefs have won seven consecutive AFC West titles and hosted five consecutive AFC championship games. Considered to be an offensive mastermind, Reid seems to be well-liked by everyone, and 11 NFL head coaches were mentored by Andy as branches on his famous “coaching tree.”
