Global Rosary Relay on Friday: Chaplain at Thomas Aquinas College invites participation

By Rev. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J.

On Friday, June 28, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, members of the Thomas Aquinas College community will gather in Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel at 6:45 p.m. (PDT). Together we will pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary as part of WorldPriest’s annual Global Rosary Relay — an international prayer effort for the sanctification of priests.

Throughout that day members of the faithful in more than 70 countries will take turns, at half-hour intervals, praying a particular mystery of the Rosary. We will pray in thanksgiving to God for our priests and to implore the protection and loving care of Our Lady, Mother of all priests, for her priestly sons. By midnight we will have encircled the world in prayer for all 24 hours.

Now, I can use all the sanctification I can get, so I was hoping you might join us in this effort!

Those who live near our California campus are invited to come to the Chapel, but even from afar, your prayers would be most appreciated. If you are unable to join us at the appointed time, I encourage you to unite your prayers with ours at a moment that is convenient for you. God and the Blessed Mother live in eternity, where Bulova watches mean nothing!

God bless you,

Rev. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J.
Chaplain
Thomas Aquinas College, California
