The Knights of Columbus, the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, has donated $500,000 to Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to support the Jordanian Catholic Church’s schooling of Syrian and Iraqi refugees in that country. The bells of the historic Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris tolled 129 times on Sunday, November 15, as tens of thousands gathered for a special Mass to pray for, honor, and remember the victims of the recent terror attacks on Paris that so far has left at least 129 dead and more than 350 wounded—the deadliest attack on French soil since WWII.
