A mere 45-seconds——yes, only 45 seconds—of sheer terror on France’s renown beach resort in Nice resulted in 84 dead, including 10 children, according to Paris prosecutor François Molins. Another 202 victims were injured.
Sean Copeland, 51 and his 11-year-old son Brodie (see photo to left) from Austin, Texas, had been on vacation when the lorry was driven into crowds. Friends and family say the American father and son were on a dream trip to the South of France and were among the victims killed in the Nice terror attack.
“I pray for the victims of the attack in Nice and their families. I ask God to convert the hearts of the violent blinded by hate,” tweeted Pope Francis.
